Maria Taqdees is a humanitarian, women empowerment advocate,
entrepreneur, peace ambassador, and community leader with over 15
years of experience working in education, leadership development,
social impact initiatives, and nonprofit outreach.
She is the founder of and has worked on multiple youth, women
empowerment, and peace-building initiatives in collaboration with
international organizations, educational institutions, and community
programs.

Dr. Moazzam Habib brings valuable experience in healthcare, wellness
advocacy, and community support initiatives. His passion for helping
individuals improve their quality of life aligns strongly with the
Foundation’s mission of holistic empowerment and community wellbeing.

Shirley West is committed to community engagement, mentorship, and
supporting initiatives that uplift vulnerable populations. Her
dedication to service and advocacy plays an important role in
strengthening the Foundation’s outreach and community-centered
mission.

Her compassionate leadership helps foster a welcoming and supportive

Kathryn Weber-Karp brings 30 years of experience with the Washoe County School District, where she served as a teacher, school counselor, and administrator. Throughout her career, she collaborated with numerous community agencies and developed programs supporting individuals and families in need.
Her work with the Council to Aid Abused Women (C.A.A.W.) provided valuable insight into the challenges faced by women and families. As a school counselor and marriage and family therapist, Kathryn connected families with essential resources, guidance, and support.
Kathryn has also served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations. She looks forward to contributing her experience, compassion, and commitment to serving the community.
